Initial work on the gender pay gap reporting ready for 2017’s mandatory reporting has yielded evidence that they do not have a pay gap which is unusual for the industry. Mediacom have implemented various initiatives to support KPI’s in relation to increasing female representation at all levels across the business. Mid-senior level female employees are encouraged to attend a residential course called ‘Shine’; there is a women’s network focused purely on the activities surrounding women’s development; enhanced family friendly policies and pay including the “expressing room” for breastfeeding women returning to work.
