Northern Power Women are proud to be partnered with Manchester Airport Group. The partnership aims to broaden the perspective on gender, inclusion and diversity within the group to improve both employee and passenger experience.
“I think it’s important to celebrate role models,” Sharon Willis, Group HR Director, says about the partnership, “If we’ve got role models it gives plenty of opportunity for young women to see the art of the possible, see what great looks like and celebrate the fact that women have achieved great things and continue to achieve great things in the future.”
Manchester Airport Group are introducing an Inclusivity Forum, helping people understand that inclusivity comes in many forms. “We need to make sure we are looking at all aspects for our employees, and equally as important, for our passengers” Sharon explains how the group want to use the forum to assist developing strategies and policies.
Last month Head of Recruitment for the group, Sarah McGuire, and Chief Operating Officer, Tricia Williams, where both awarded places on the Northern Power Women Future List and Power List.
Manchester Airport Group are powering next month’s Northern Power Women Awards, on 18th March at Manchester Central Convention Complex.
