Aimée has many different roles, but the link between them all is their power to connect, drive change, improve the lived experience of others and advance equality. While she may be based in Bristol, she’s bringing her northern power to the south through her phenomenal amount of energy and drive. Former City Girl content creator, and coordinator of UWE Bristol’s Women’s Forum, Aimée was recognised as a We Are the City Rising Star in 2019, and is proud of her work bringing the Red Box Project to UWE Bristol. Since then Aimée founded several networks at UWE Bristol with the aim of connecting others, facilitating opportunities to share best practice and build a community.
Aimée now leads communications and engagement for the Women in Higher Education Network (WHEN), driving change at the next level and building a community on a national scale.
Aimée acts as a mentor, and a role model, and says that giving back to others in this way feeds her soul. She is also a trustee for Jacari, a charity working to pair university students with pupils from local schools who speak English as an additional language, improving their English-speaking abilities, and boosting overall academic potential.
