Children and Young People's Lead, Women's Aid

I am the lead on children and young people for a national domestic violence charity. As well as the co founder of Intersectional Feminist Foreign Policy, a platform to disrupt the way in which foreign policy impacts women’s lives, particularly women of colour.
I am proud to be a trustee for a brilliant arts organisations, Diverse City, which aims to change the way the arts sectors deals with diversity and inclusion by working with disabled actors and performers on national shows.
I am also a Labour candidate for my home ward Ardwick in Central Manchester, making me the first visibly Muslim, Arab woman to stand.
