Amy Lynch

Head of Diversity & Inclusion, ThoughtWorks

With a 12-year career spanning sales, recruitment and marketing, Amy currently works for ThoughtWorks – a leading global technology consultancy, where she heads up Diversity & Inclusion for the UK.

Amy is passionate about supporting causes that aim to improve the lives of people across Greater Manchester and has helped build relationships with organisations including LGBT Foundation and Mustard Tree. She has volunteered with charities including Social Mobility Foundation, Reclaim and Refugee Action who tackle social inequality and she is part of BIMA’s (British Interactive Media Association) diversity and inclusion council, leading the charge on making the digital industry a place we all want to work.

Amy champions flexible working and has been a driving force in establishing ThoughtWorks’ internal diversity & inclusion group, Intertwined, which aims to de-silo diversity through embracing intersectionality and helping people be better allies for one another. She also played an integral part in ThoughtWorks being named as Female Tech Employer of the Year 2018 by womenintech.co.uk.

Amy also dedicates time to raising awareness around unconscious bias, microaggressions and what it means to be an ally, in the hope that this will help us all work towards a more equitable future for all.
