Amy works as a D&I Advisor for EY. Her role focuses on supporting EY’s D&I strategy by helping to create a culture of belonging.
Prior to working at EY Amy worked at Teach First recruiting graduates from across the Midlands, Wales and the North to teach in disadvantaged areas.
Both inside and outside of work Amy is committed to educating and raising awareness of the challenges and barriers faced by minorities. She has developed a Race and Gender toolkit and has led several race fluency sessions to explain the challenges and barriers that people of colour and especially women of colour have in their career and in wider society. Amy feels so strongly that it isn’t just for the minority to address systemic inequality in our society and workplaces, it is everyone’s responsibility. She is so proud to be on the Northern Power Women Future List and looks forward to collaborating more through the NPW Network.
